Tigers And Humans Have Shared The Earth For Thousands Of Years And Their Relationship Has Not Being Close Or Friendly. Tigers Have Are Very Much Territorial Hence We Should Always Respect His Territory As He Respects Ours. The Social System Of Tigers Is Connected Through Visual Signals, Scent Marks And Vocalizations and they Use Their Body Weight To Knock The Prey To The Ground And Kills With A Bite On The Neck. They Are Very Good Swimmers And Have Been Known To Kill Prey While Swimming Also. Tigers Essentially Are Solitary By Nature, Except During Mating Season And When Females Bear Young.
But Many People Feel A Deep Admiration And Devotion For Tigers. Though Humans Are Often Fearful Of Tigers As They Have Become Their Main Predator And Have Being The Most Dangerous Threat For The Survival Of These Cats. It Is No Secret That Many Tigers Have Killed By People.
Tiger-Human Conflicts Is Usually Inevitable Wherever And Wherever People And Large Carnivores Coexist. This Conflicts Revealed Humans As The Encroachers And Tiger As Victim And The Story Goes On With The Jungle Shrinking And Settlements, Cultivation And Development Activities In Wildlife Corridors Increasingly You Will Find Villages Even In The Core Jungle Area Leaving No Space For Wild Life.
Basically We Are The Ones To Continually Invade Their Natural Habitat And Then Complain When Tiger Attacks Do Occur. We Should Understand That When We Destroy Their Natural Habitat, They Are Forced To Live In Areas That They Never Inhabited Before To Find Food And Survive. Hence Tigers mark their presence along the border of Such Jungle Settlement to hunt and get Feed On The Domestic Animals which are Easily available then the Jungle Prey.
Situation Starts getting worse when Farmers In Such A Situation Sometimes Use Poison And Pesticides To Kill The Tigers And Protect Their Livestock. Even Though Such Practices Are Illegal, It Is Still Happening. Over The Last Century, These Cats Have Lost Large Areas due to which, Only A Few Thousand Tigers Remain In Relatively Small Areas Which Is quite Alarming.
In Short Space Has Been The Main Factor Causing Conflicts Between Tigers And Humans.
Today The Numbers Of Tigers Are Increasing But Still We All Have To Take Efforts To Support And Fight For Protecting The Tigers And Other Threatened And Endangered Wildlife.
1. A Tigeress Is Very Possessive For Its Cubs And Goes To Any Extend To Protect Them If Any Species Stroll In Her Territory
2. In Most Places, Adults Tigers Are Wary Of Human Beings And Avoid Encounters With Strolling Humans In Its Territory But Sub Adults Or Teen Tigers Usually Attack And Tries To Be Playful On Any Moving Objects Or Species As They Are On The Learning Stage.
3. If Any Tiger Is Injures By Any Ways It Tends To Attack On Any Species As To Maintain Safe Distance.
4. Tigers Do Not Tolerate Interference In Their Territory Especially During Mating Phase Or When It Has Killed Its Prey. It Attacks To Prove Its Existence And To Drive The Encroachers Away.
5. Due To Shrinking Of The Jungle Due To Encroachments Activities Even In The Core Area By Humans The Tigers Prey On The Humans Unattended Live Stock That Wanders In The Jungle Territory.
6. Tigers Have Consistently Lost Their Natural Habitat And A Rapid Decline In The Availability Of Prey, Forcing Them To Barge Into Human Encroachments In Search Of Food And Water
